Disclosure for Backtested Performance Information on the Traffic Light Trading membership strategies.
Backtested performance does not represent actual performance and should not be interpreted as an indication of such performance. Actual performance for client accounts may be materially different than. Backtested performance results have certain inherent limitations. Such results do not represent the impact that material economic and market factors might have on an actual traded account. Backtested performance also differs from actual performance because it is achieved with the benefit of hindsight. As a result, the algorithmic models may be changed from time to time and the effect on performance results could be either favorable or unfavorable.
Backtested performance results of the standard and advanced subscriptions assume the reinvestment of dividends and capital gains by data provided with Yahoo finance. The Trend Trader subscription performances are unleveraged long only positions. The Smart Money Trader uses 2-1 leverage for both long and short trades. It is important to understand that the performance assumptions do not include rebalancing. The Power Trader does not use leverage or inverse trades. Monthly membership fees are not deducted from the performance, nor are taxes or commissions.
Since we accept no fees from investment product firms, performances are based on net asset value returns, which are net of the investment expense ratios only. Although index funds minimize tax liabilities from short and long-term capital gains, any resulting tax liability is not deducted from performance results. Performance results also do not reflect transaction fees and other expenses, which may reduce returns.

Traffic Light Trading does not guarantee any minimum level of investment performance or the success of any investment strategy.
All investments involve risk and investment recommendations will not always be profitable. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You could lose a portion or all of your investment. Traffic Light Trading has developed a Business Continuity Plan regarding how we will respond to events that may significantly disrupt our business. Since the timing and impact of disasters and disruptions is unpredictable, Traffic Light Trading must be flexible in responding to actual events as they occur. With that in mind, Traffic Light Trading is providing this information regarding its business continuity plan.
Our Business Continuity Plan
Traffic Light Trading plans to quickly recover and resume business operations after a significant business disruption and respond by safeguarding our employees and property, making a financial and operational assessment, protecting the firm’s books and records, and allowing our customers to transact business. In short, our business continuity plan is designed to permit our firm to resume operations as quickly as possible, given the scope and severity of the significant business disruption.
Our business continuity plan addresses: data backup and recovery; all mission critical systems; financial and operational assessments; alternative communications with customers, employees, and regulators; alternate physical location of employees; critical supplier, contractor, bank and counter-party impact; regulatory reporting; and assuring our customers prompt service if we are unable to continue our business.
The severity of the disruption can vary from minimal to severe. If a disruption is only to our main office location or the building housing our main office location, we will transfer our operations to a local site and expect to recover and resume business within one day. In a disruption affecting our business district, city, or region, we will transfer our operations to a site outside of the affected area, and recover and resume business within three days. In either situation, we plan to continue in business and will notify subscribers through our web site (www.Traffic Light Trading.us) or through an outgoing email message.

CFTC Rule 4.41
Any simulated or hypothetical performance results have certain inherent limitations. While prices may appear within a given trading range, there is no guarantee that there will be enough liquidity (volume) to ensure that such trades could be actually executed. Hypothetical results thus can differ greatly from actual performance records, and do not represent actual trading since such trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight and back testing. Such representations in theory could be altered by Acts of God or Sovereign Debt Defaults. It should not be assumed that the methods, techniques, or indicators presented in this publication will be profitable or that they will not result in losses since this cannot be a full representation of all considerations and the evolution of economic and market development. Past results of any individual or trading strategy published are not indicative of future returns since all things cannot be considered for discussion purposes. In addition, the indicators, strategies, columns, articles and discussions (collectively, the “Information”) are provided for informational and educational purposes only and should not be construed as investment advice or a solicitation for money to manage since money management is not conducted. Therefore, by no means is this publication to be construed as a solicitation of any order to buy or sell. Accordingly, you should not rely solely on the Information in making any investment. Rather, you should use the Information only as a starting point for doing additional independent research in order to allow you to form your own opinion regarding investments. You should always check with your licensed financial advisor and tax advisor to determine the suitability of any such investment.
Digital & Crypto-Currency Risks
Buying, selling and using bitcoins or any other crypro-currency carry numerous risks: Digital currency such as Bitcoin is not legal tender. No law requires companies or individuals to accept bitcoins as a form of payment. Instead, Bitcoin use is limited to businesses and individuals that are willing to accept bitcoins. If no one accepts bitcoins, bitcoins will become worthless. Trading crytp currency involves significant risk of loss. Platforms that buy and sell bitcoins can be hacked, and some have failed. In addition, like the platforms themselves, digital wallets can be hacked. As a result, consumers can—and have—lost money. Bitcoin transactions can be subject to fraud and theft. For example, a fraudster could pose as a Bitcoin exchange, Bitcoin intermediary or trader in an effort to lure you to send money, which is then stolen. Unlike banks that provide certain guarantees of safety to depositors, there are no such safeguards provided to digital wallets. Bitcoin payments are irreversible. Once you complete a transaction, it cannot be reversed. Purchases can be refunded, but that depends solely on the willingness of the establishment to do so. In part because of the anonymity Bitcoin offers, it has been used in illegal activity, including drug dealing, money laundering and other forms of illegal commerce. Abuses could impact consumers and speculators; for instance, law enforcement agencies could shut down or restrict the use of platforms and exchanges, limiting or shutting off the ability to use or trade bitcoins. The economy, markets, and investment trends change rapidly. Investment returns and principal value will fluctuate, so that investors' shares, when sold, may be worth more or less than their original cost. Investing in any security does not guarantee that an investor will make money, avoid losing capital, or indicate that the investment is risk-free. There are no absolute guarantees in investing. All investments involve risk and will not always be profitable. When reviewing any performance information on any internet site, please read the backtest disclosure; if they do not have one it may prove to be fraudulent. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You could lose a portion or all of your investment. Speak to a licensed professional financial advisor to determine suitability of any investment..
